Sweet collaboration: Awfully Chocolate and Lune partner to craft an exquisite, ultra-limited croissant sensation

For Awfully Chocolate and Lune’s third collaboration on World Chocolate Day, they’re making sure that no one will miss out. World Chocolate Day will take place on Friday 7 July, however this year the two brands are extending the celebration to last the whole weekend. The Belgian Truffle will be available from Friday 7 July to Sunday 9 July at all Lune stores (including their two Brisbane locations) and selected Awfully Chocolate stores across Melbourne and Sydney. As a treat for Sydneysiders, Lune will also be introducing a special Sydney pop-up for the event, as they prepare to open their first Sydney store in 2024, on Oxford St Darlinghurst.


The decadent and rich treat combines smooth, award-winning chocolate with the finest pastry to entertain moments of Belgian bliss for all chocolate lovers to sink their teeth into. The Belgian Truffle is a twice baked croissant featuring a gooey chocolate centre, made up of Awfully Chocolate Cocoa frangipane and 70% Guanaja fondant.

This fantastical creation looks as decadent as it tastes, garnished with tempered chocolate shards, salted cookie crumb, mascarpone chantilly and, the element that inspired it all, Awfully Chocolate Belgian Truffles.

Not only is this collaboration a dream for us, but for every foodie with an affinity for premium chocolate.

Where to Get
